 SpatCom
is a shareware software or tools to understand of our
position or location in Indonesia which consist of thousand
insland, million of river, mountain etc. The Software
is a light GIS Application which may be used to explore
further the digital map.
SpatCom is designed to be distributed
along with Indonesian digital map scale 1 : 250,000
which contain spatial information such as main road,
collector road, river, lake, mountain, railways, beach
line etc.
The mission of distributing SpatCom
software is to allow users to exploit and have the knowledge
of GIS Applications, since it is very user friendly,
simple, free and intended to be used by any users from
any backgrounds such as teacher, bisnisman, student,
lecturer, etc. Users may also take any advantageous
of having the digital map along with it and all information
contained in it such as seek any location or position,
view surrounding environment, query spatial information
etc.
By distributing SpatCom software with
Indonesian digital map inside, DIC has proceeding one
of it's mission i.e. to socialize the digital map and
enhancing the value of the map not only exposing location
or position but become part of our journey or mission
of life.
